My Testimony – by Donna Fuller
I am a third generation United Pentecostal. I was privileged to be born into a family where my mother faithfully served the Lord.
Being raised up on a Pentecostal pew, I learned all the Bible stories, grew up in Sunday school, and Bible quizzed for seven years. The Word was instilled in me from a very early age.
At the age of eleven, I began to realize that I would be lost if I didn’t repent of my sins and get baptized. I was baptized in Jesus’ name in July of 1982. I sought for the Holy Ghost several times, but finally received God’s Spirit at Tennessee Junior High Youth Camp in July 1983. From that day to this one, I have been blessed to walk with the Lord, although there have been many valleys. I have learned to trust in the Lord as my Provider, my Healer, and my Savior!
I have tried to give my talents—that He has blessed me with—back to God. He has opened many doors for me, even the opportunity to minister in music overseas in Russia. He continues to bless me daily, and I thank Him for a wonderful husband and two precious children. It is a joy to be a part of the ministry team of the Paoli Pentecostal Church.
The scripture is very true in my life: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) Now my children are enjoying a wonderful heritage of being raised in Truth.
